Vale3The Camberwell Historical Society have sent us a flyer for a talk by Burnley Graduate Dr.,Anne Vale.

Discover what has influenced Australia’s Mind Shapers and Garden Creators from Edna Walling to Luis Barragan. Hear how they are influencing contemporary garden making. Jim Fogarty, Andrew Laidlaw and Tim Entwisle and others have their own interpretation of what a garden is. They may have shared many similar childhood experiences, such as the scent of rosemary around the sandpit, planting carrots as a five-year-old, or running free in the Australian bush, but their journeys are diverse and collectively they offer us a wealth of ideas for garden making in the 21st Century. Books will be available for purchase.

When: Tuesday 28th, February 2017, at 8.00 pm
Where: The Meeting Room, Camberwell Library,340 Camberwell Road, Camberwell
